1 Turnip (cut into small dices for faster
1/4 Tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup 35% Cream
1/4. Tsp Nutmeg
- Slice the turnip into 1 inch rounds and then into smaller dices.
- Boil with 1/4 tsp salt until tender enough to mash – mash well.
- Add the brown sugar and cream.
- Using a blender stick, purée the turnip until a smooth whipped texture is ‘fluffy’.
- Stir in the nutmeg, and place in a baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
